Hola amigos/amigas:
Come to Sioux Falls on Sunday morning, Feb. 22, and you'll have a large, warm room and a big clean pool to try all your kayaking moves, the ones you've read about all winter.
We have rented the pool that day, and the doors open for boat-loading a little before 10 a.m.
Our last operation at the pool went well.
There is no formal "training" and everyone who comes just did what they wanted to do. We did fill the pool with our boats, but for the most part, you can be on the water for two full hours, if you so choose.
Everything is a GO, so hit the Sat. night mass if you have to and come on out, we'll be there practicing stuff we'd never want to do on Lake Alvin or the Big Sioux River.
We did a bit of boat swapping/try-outs, and we hope you'll join us on 2-22.

Already scouting for Earth Day
We had a lot of fun at the YWCA pool training, and on the way home we stopped north of Flandreau, took a few photos.
Earth Day is April 22, so we'll aim to have our cruise from the Powwow grounds to the dam on either April 18 or April 25.
We could certainly look at other segments of the BSR as well. Ideas anyone?
